Portrait of Emily Hagenmaier, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW (Wisconsin license # 8054-123). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Gender Studies from Northwestern University and my master’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles.

I have provided psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups since 2006 in a variety of settings including private practice, non-profit agencies, and hospitals. I incorporate mindfulness-based practices to reduce stress and increase resilience.

In 2014, I completed a fellowship in infant, early childhood, and family mental health at UW-Madison. Additionally, I have taught mindfulness in the UW Department of Psychiatry, the Madison Children’s Museum, the Wisconsin Alliance of Infant Mental Health, and to early childhood professionals throughout the state. I am a consultant to Sesame Street Workshop on international projects integrating mindfulness for young children.

I am the parent of three.
