ABOUT

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW (Wisconsin license # 8054-123). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Gender Studies from Northwestern University and my master’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles. I completed a fellowship in infant, early childhood, and family mental health within the Psychiatry Department at UW-Madison. I completed Advanced training year in Somatic Experiencing, a trauma treatment that supports effective and long-lasting body-based healing.

I have provided psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups since 2006 in a variety of settings including private practice, non-profit agencies, and hospitals. I incorporate mindfulness-based practices to reduce stress and increase resilience.

I am on the Faculty of the UW Health Mindfulness Program where I teach mindfulness for young children and their caregivers and Mindful Self Compassion. I have taught in the UW Department of Psychiatry, the Madison Children’s Museum, the Wisconsin Alliance of Infant Mental Health, and to early childhood professionals throughout the state. Since 2019, I have been a consultant to Sesame Street Workshop on international projects integrating social-emotional learning and mindfulness for young children.
